Event plan, & updates

(COVID 19,  2020 edition)

• If you choose to register day of the event please be sure to try, and bring the exact donation fee 
• Date of event August 22nd, Main St. Newfane N.Y.   9am-3pm
• Rain date is August 29th
•  Online registering is scheduled to end 8/12 , cars can also be registered on day of the show. 
• Limited number of registered cars,  Currently limited to 33% of capacity  (200 vehicles)
• Will have 2 -3 registration tables,. If we get enough manpower we may offer curb side registration, this is to eliminate gathering at registration table.
• Social Distancing is encouraged, and face masks are recommended if within 6ft of others. 
• Will have at least 3 Hand Sanitizer stations
• Blessing of the vehicles will be sometime  Between 12pm - 2pm 
• Over 60 awards, first 100 cars receive a dash plaque
• Venders,  pizza, chicken BBQ,  pulled BBQ pork by Parker`s Pit, and ice cream by Bryce's ice-cream.  The Newfane Methodist church on the corner of Main St. and East ave will be offering coffee, and donuts 9am -10am, Homburgs, Hotdogs, sausage, and non alcohol drinks  from 11am-2pm. 
• Proceeds go to the Miller Hose fire Co. 
• cruising DJ music, by Ray " the fat man Heron"  STAB radio AM -  Sorry no live music 
• Registration is closed, you can register your car day of the event
• Power wheels registration is now closed, Sorry no registrations will be taken for power wheels on day of the event.
• In the case of the event having to be cancelled or  date changed, a refund for registration will be made to the buyer via the method the buyer used to buy the registration. 
• Non-Alcohol event
• Last day to register early is 8/12 for show vehicles,  and power wheels. Power wheels registration must be done online.
• Chicken BBQ will be served by the Miller Hose fire co. exempts. Save $2 per chicken BBQ dinner by registering early online, you will have a choice of 1 or 2 discount  tickets.  the online registration application has been updated for this option. If you registered before 7/28 please message me on how many discount chicken BBQ tickets you need (1 or 2 ) 
• To avoid gatherings ,  the award ceremony will be a little different we will deliver awards to the vehicles as soon as votes are tabulated .
• Must register your vehicle to park in show area. Thank you for your support in this difficult year.  This has been a difficult event due to the uncertainty of the pandemic, along with the  ever changing guide lines set in place by the NYS Governors office.  For this event to take place we must comply  with the NYS phase 4 requirements of face masks & social distancing
